The podcast

RadioCSIRT is an independent podcast publishing a daily summary of cybersecurity news, written for CERT, CSIRT and SOC teams and for CISOs. The goal is simple: give you, in a few minutes, what you need to decide and prioritise.

Every episode links back to its sources: CERT-FR and CISA advisories, vendor bulletins, research publications and CTI reports. Nothing is asserted without a verifiable reference.

What you get

  • A daily rhythm: a short audio briefing, published the same day when an advisory calls for it.
  • An operational reading: what to look at first, IOCs where they exist, the points that deserve attention.
  • No commercial dependency: no advertising, no sponsorship, no sensationalism.
  • Five languages: French daily, plus English, German, Italian and Spanish editions.

Who makes RadioCSIRT

RadioCSIRT is made by one person, Marc Frédéric Gomez, who runs a CERT day to day. The podcast is not outsourced editorial work: every episode is written and recorded by someone who does the job, on the day the information breaks.

Over thirty years in information systems and security, with experience in the United States, Canada and France. Today head of a CERT, running detection, investigation and incident response, and coordinating cross-disciplinary teams.

An advocate of open source, he speaks at conferences, has taught cyber threat intelligence at the École de Guerre Économique, and publishes analysis and field notes.

Contributing

A correction, a missing source, a blind spot in an episode: listener feedback is part of how this works, and gets picked up on air when it adds something.
